I was impressed when I saw the celestial globe of Hondeus, which represents the Netherlands in the 17th century, and made it. Originally, it was a globe made of tin metal sheet with a pattern attached to it. The constellations are set by Ptolemy, Bayer, Royer, and Lacaille. There are 88 constellations, but there are many constellations that I didn't know about while I was working on them, and I researched the stories of the stars of heaven and compiled them in one notebook. It was a lot of fun to get to know them. The sphere was very difficult and I made a number of boat shapes and pasted them together. Size (cm): Diameter 23.5 Height 32 Material: Wood *Because it is antiqued, white powder may come out, but it can be easily removed by wiping with a tissue.
