梵字において、a（阿）は口を大きく開いたときの音であり、m（吽）は口を完全に閉じたときの音です。字母の配列が阿から始まり吽で終わることから、宇宙の始まりから終わりまでを表す言葉とされています。
An object with the motif of Aun.
In Sanskrit, a (阿) is the sound when the mouth is wide open, and m (吽) is the sound when the mouth is completely closed. Since the arrangement of the letters starts with 阿 and ends with 吽, it is said to represent the beginning to the end of the universe.
